Celebrating Rock-solid truth foundations!

About Us

Addressing the philosophical category of "knowing," Truth Foundations does not fear to tread in philosophical waters.  BUT WAIT, let us clarify, please!  To be distinguished from a philosophy of mankind, (which, if advocated, would violate Proverbs 3:5,6, Colossians 2:8-10 and other related passages), this branch of philosophy is inherent in every paradigm, including the Biblical one.  Every worldview perspective relies upon sources of information that speak authoritatively in the defining or building of that worldview.  One cannot get away from this initial starting-point issue.  Let's state it yet another way.

The limited wisdom of humanity is not our appeal here, but mankind has identified universal elements that are included within every perspective on life, including Biblical Christianity.  We would not have a Christian worldview if we did not have an authoritative source as a standard or definitive measurement - oral stories and contemporary traditions can only take us so far!  Knowing this, God has graciously given us a lamp whereby we can see our path.  He has given us a map to help us find our way, and it's a clear map if we would simply receive it with child-like faith.  Have we become so proud that we are once again repeating history (see Jeremiah 6:16)?  God forbid!  Everyone and every community have authority sources.  It's through this topic of knowledge methods/information sources/authority voices that Truth Foundations seeks to help God's people build further joy in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

"How is this done?" one might ask.  The Good News is tied to a source - it is found in the Word of God.  If we understand and know (in both our head and our heart - Jeremiah 9:23,24) the rock-solid foundation that's ours in the Word of God, we live differently.  Note the deep joy of those who simply believe God at His Word versus those who are doubters.  What a contrast of perspective!  Speaking of contrasts, the Bible has much to say about "Truth."  In many texts, a stark contrast is made between God's Truths and the puny truths of man.  Check it out!  Read devotionally the following passages which only scratch the surface of the many passages that address this crucial theme of truth.  Psalm 1, Psalm 118:8,9, Psalm 119:97-100 (sweet!), Isaiah 40:8, Isaiah 55:8,9, and I Corinthians 1:18 - 3:23.  Incredible, aren't they?  Fascinating, yes very encouraging to those who would humble themselves and receive God's good and life-changing Truths!

What's so precious about this are the many ways God uses to bring us to Himself through Jesus Christ.  We are using another search-for-truth web site to lead sincere truth-seekers (who are not presently Christians) to God's Truths through a simple appeal to be open to all the available truth methods.  If you have skeptical friends who are sincerely open-minded about truth inquiry, please prayerfully consider directing them to www.truthmatters.com where, initially, a site without the beautiful Scriptures about this issue can be found.  It is our prayer that as this fair appeal is contemplated, they, too, might begin reading the Word and come to enjoy God's life-changing promises (see Isaiah 55:10,11 and Hebrews 4:12).  PRAY along these very lines for those with whom you share this site!

In a day of great deception and almost fear about truth, ponder the following verse in light of God's foundation, His Word.  "If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" (Ps. 11:3; NKJV)  We are called to believe God at His Word.  A part of the abundant life in Jesus Christ (Jn. 10) is directly tied to this mandate (Matthew 7:24-29 - even here we see the important "authority" theme!).
